Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire (Approx. 2.5-3 hours)

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 7a.m. and depart for Tarangire. You will arrive mid-morning where you will check in at booked lodge. Have lunch, relax and later enjoy another game drive at 4o’clock.

Overnight: Maramboi/Sopa/Burunge

Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Tarangire – Morning & Afternoon game drives

Have morning & afternoon game drives on this day.

Overnight: Maramboi/Sopa/Burunge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 3: Tarangire – Transfer to Ngorongoro (Approx. 2 hours)

Depart for Ngorongoro after breakfast arriving before lunch time. Once you enter the park, head to the lodge for lunch. There will be no game drive on this day therefore you will spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge.

Overnight: Serena/Farm House

Meals: Lunch, Dinner & Breakfast

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Crater tour

After breakfast, check out of the lodge with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour to the foot of the crater. Ascend for a game drive to look for numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge.

Overnight: Serena/Farm House

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Serengeti (Approx. 3-4 hours)

Have breakfast then depart for Serengeti to arrive before lunch time. Once you arrive have an introductory game drive en route to the camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.

Overnight: Tortilis/Serena Lodge/Kubu Kubu

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6 & 7: Serengeti – Full day game drive

Have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying packed lunch with you. Enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast savannah land. Picnic lunch will be served at lunch time.

Alternatively, have morning & afternoon game drives

Overnight: Tortilis/Serena Lodge/Kubu Kubu
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8: Serengeti – Transfer to Lake Manyara (Approx. 4-5 hours)

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Lake Manyara to arrive by lunch time. This day is spent relaxing by the lodge as you enjoy the views that these lodges have to offer.

Overnight: Escarpment lodge/Serena

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 8: Serengeti – Transfer to Lake Manyara (Approx. 4-5 hours)

Have breakfast and immediately depart for Lake Manyara to arrive by lunch time. This day is spent relaxing by the lodge as you enjoy the views that these lodges have to offer.

Overnight: Escarpment lodge/Serena

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 9: Lake Manyara – Transfer to Arusha

Have breakfast then have a game drive in Lake Manyara before departing for Arusha.
